Joanna is the founder and CEO of Northern Light Capital Partners. She brings 15 years of international executive experience at the intersection of investment, business, and sustainability. Prior to launching Northern Light, she established and led Canada for CREO, one of the world's largest climate investment platforms unlocking capital deployment into the decarbonization transition. She previously advised Fortune 100 companies on sustainability strategies as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, and she co-founded a global accelerator supporting more than 10,000 young entrepreneurs build companies changing the world.
Joanna is a Rhodes Scholar with a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Oxford, and Scarlet Key with a Bachelors of Commerce from McGill University. She is the co-founder of the non-profit Women in Climate Finance, founder one of the world's first accredited undergraduate programs in sustainable business, speaks five languages, and has worked in more than 70 countries.
